REPORTS TO · Team Leader
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES As for a Team Member with the following additional responsibilities:
- · Ensure quality of results are maintained and ensure targets are met.
- · Communicate with and send reports/databases to the client each week or as required by the assignment. Where possible speak with the client and follow up with an email summary.
- · Escalate immediately any problems or issues with an assignment to the Team Leader and the sales team. Action items identified by them to resolve the situation. All commercial discussions should be directed to the sales team.
- · Depending on requirements of the sales team, perform lead generation for the company (max. 8 hours per week). Details of the assignment will vary and will be given at the appropriate time.
- · Escalate immediately any problems or issues with the company lead generation to the Team Leader and the sales team. Action items identified by them to resolve the situation.
SKILLS REQUIRED · Highly articulate on the telephone with excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- · Good numerical skills with good command of Word, Excel and email.
- · Knowledge of a proprietary contact management system, such as ACT!, Goldmine, or Maximizer an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
- · Specialist knowledge of one or more market sectors may be an advantage for work in a particular vertical.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE · Minimum 2 years of telephone based lead generation (additional experience in carrying out surveys, market research, etc. of benefit but can not be used to replace experience in lead generation).
WORKING ENVIRONMENT & CONDITIONS · Office environment, with PC desktop with Microsoft-compatible software.
- · 36 hours per week with ½ hour lunch and two 10-minute breaks per day, finishing 1pm Fridays.
- · Occasional extended working hours to ensure databases and any other required documentation are sent by COB.
- · No additional responsibilities in signing off resource requirements or data purchases.
- RENUMERATION
· Basic salary: £14,000 - £18,000 depending on skills and experience. Note that this salary range is for a 36-hour week and is equivalent to a salary range of £15,500 - £20,000 for a 40-hour week.
- · Bonus: related to assignments (either a trial period or a contract) being extended or trial periods being won from the company lead generation. Calculated and paid quarterly in arrears. See bonus card for details of current bonus values. To be eligible for the bonus, the business won must be attributed to the Senior Team Member and confirmed by their Team Leader. Should a Senior Team Member submit their resignation, no bonus is payable for the quarter in which the Senior Team Member resigns.
- · Discretionary bonus: awarded in recognition of outstanding performance or contribution to the company. This bonus is only awarded on an ad-hoc basis and solely at the discretion of the Directors.
